Portioning Machine
The IPM is a high-speed portioning machine controlled by
computer vision.
The machine measures pieces of the raw material - fillets of
fish, pieces of poultry or red meat - in 3D, a computer calculates
the optimal portioning pattern, and knives cut the material
by a predefined pattern.

ISM Intelligent
Slicing Machine
The Marel Intelligent Slicing Machine (ISM) uses information from
a computer vision system to raise or lower a cutting mechanism
which portions horizontally.
The system allows the operator to
specify the weight tolerance of either the top or bottom cut, and
the ISM cuts accordingly.
